An internationally published documentary photographer with a cinematic style. Sarah’s work reflects her love of people, her eye for composition, and her sense of light and form. Her photographs invite the viewer to look beyond the obvious and to explore the deeper narrative of the image. She is passionate about telling stories and prefers the longer form documentary approach to her work where she can get an insight and understanding into the subject she is photographing.

She is currently one of a handful of photographers chosen by Leica to promote their World Deserves Witnesses campaign.

“Her observational documentary style evokes memories of photographs from other great documenters of the British way of life…a classic combination of finely tuned photographic art with a humorous eye”
Amateur Photographer Magazine

“WOW! Fantastic stills. They are very, very special”
Andrew Bainbridge. BBC ‘World on Fire’. Mammoth Screen

Sarah’s first book ‘Showfield’, a photographic reportage of the agricultural shows of the North of England, was accepted into the Martin Parr Foundation Library in 2018.

“I looked through [Showfield] with both pleasure and envy. A great addition to the Foundation library”
Martin Parr. Magnum
